The exhibition is due to be showcased at the highly exclusive Copenhagen venue at Børsen between the 9th May and 13th May.
Exhibition Islam is aiming to showcase an exclusive collection of historic Islamic manuscripts and artefacts, dating as far back as the 8th Century. These collections will reflect the contributions that Muslim societies have made to the entire world and symbolising the depth of the Islamic art, history and culture.
The exhibition will elaborate on how Islamic teachings have consistently contributed positively to the development of humanity and have been at the forefront of scientific and social advancement. One of the main highlights of the exhibition will be to showcase how Muslims have positively participated in the European society.
Shahid Munir, Director of Research at Exhibition Islam states: “We are excited to have the opportunity to once again deliver a positive message of understanding and tolerance to the Danish population. We hope that the exhibition provides all communities a platform for constructive dialogue and discussion.”
The Exhibition Islam format is based upon a comprehensive ‘museum-style’ exhibition that displays exhibits on Islamic beliefs, Islamic history, Islamic science and Islamic architecture.
